???? How to Check Spam & Whitelist Senders – Kingsley Webmail (webmail.kingsley.co.za)

If you're using a POP email account , your emails are downloaded directly to your email client (like Outlook or Thunderbird), but spam filtering still happens on our server. That means spam emails may be caught before they reach your inbox and stored in the Spam/Junk folder on webmail.kingsley.co.za .

To ensure important emails aren't missed, follow these steps:

✅ Step 1: Log into Kingsley Webmail

  1. Open your browser.
  2. Go to: https://webmail.kingsley.co.za
  3. Enter your full email address and password .
  4. Click Login .

✅ Step 2: Access Your Spam/Junk Folder

  1. Once logged in, look for the folder list on the left-hand side.
  2. Find and click on the Spam or Junk folder.
  3. You’ll see a list of emails that were flagged as potential spam.

✅ Step 3: Mark Valid Emails as “Not Junk”

  1. In the Spam folder, locate any email that should not have been marked as spam.
  2. Click on the email to open it.
  3. Look for a button or link labeled “Not Junk” or “This is not spam” — this will:
    • Move the message to your Inbox
    • Help train the spam filter to allow similar emails in the future
  4. Repeat this process for all legitimate emails in the Spam folder.

???? Tip: Do this regularly to improve filtering accuracy and avoid missing important messages.

✅ Step 4: Whitelist Trusted Email Addresses

To ensure emails from certain senders always reach your inbox:

Option A: From an Email in Spam

  1. Open an email from a sender you trust that was incorrectly marked as spam.
  2. Click the “Not Junk” button.
  3. When prompted, select the option to “Always allow emails from [sender]” .
  4. Confirm your choice.

Option B: Manually Add to Whitelist

  1. While logged into webmail, go to the Settings menu (usually found in the top-right corner).
  2. Navigate to Spam Settings or Filters .
  3. Look for options like:
    • Whitelist
    • Allowed Senders
    • Trusted Addresses
  4. Add the email addresses or domains (e.g., john@example.com or @example.com) you want to always receive.
  5. Save your changes.
